What is the MoneyWord Matrix?

By Leroy Chan

Almost every niche marketing related eBook or report I’ve read tells me how important it is to pick the right keywords and have them in the content of the websites I build.

Without these keywords your site will never show up in searches. I agree and have seen the difference in the amount of traffic my sites get when I do what the gurus tell me.

There are many ways to find the right keywords and there are many tools that help simplify and automate <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com/276/without-keyword-research-your-website-is-doomed/"title="keyword research" >keyword research.

I’ve come across a niche marketing membership site that shows its members how to do keyword research. Keywords are imported and compared to what is called the MoneyWord Matrix. They explained the concept very well in their videos. After watching the video, members can immediately apply the techniques for finding keywords with good demand and little competition.

Although the keyword research method they present was easy to understand, I can see someone pulling their hair out trying to find hundreds of keywords in one sitting. To make this task easier, the MoneyWord Matrix is built into a piece of software members can install on their computer.

The MoneyWord Matrix rates keywords as Excellent, Good, Fair and Poor based on their demand and competition. I ran a list of keywords for a niche and wrote an article for a keyword that was rated as Excellent. My article showed up in the top ten of Google search results.

Unfortunately to use this piece of software, you have to continue your membership. However, there are alternative keyword tools that arrive at the same conclusion as the MoneyWord Matrix. These other tools just won’t rate the keywords you input as Excellent, Good, etc.

A vital component to making money online using the <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com"title="niche profit classroom homepage" >Niche Profit Classroom course is <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com/276/without-keyword-research-your-website-is-doomed/"title="keyword research" >keyword research. In fact without doing keyword research in the first place you almost certainly will fail to build a successful online business – unless you just happen to be very lucky and accidentally fall into a lucrative niche. Realistically it is just not going to happen!

The point about keyword research is that people searching the Internet for information type in particular searches to try find the information they require – you want to be targeting on your website the exact words and phrases that they are typing. If you are not then your website will never be found and you will never sell your e-book and make money on the Internet.

However if you do some research and you know what people are looking and searching for you can have your website pages listed near the top of the search engine results (SERPS) such as in Google, MSN, Bing and Yahoo. Imagine the traffic and possible sales if you then do the rest of the Niche Profit Classroom 3 methods correctly!

Why Your Website Will Fail Without Keyword Research

Author: Jeremy Biberdorf

One of the biggest mistakes a website can make is to ignore keyword research. It is doesn’t matter how great your website is or how low your prices are, if nobody can find it. For people to be able to find your website, you need to get your website to show up in search engine queries related to your niche. If you don’t take the time to figure out what keywords people are using to find your products or services, all you can do is blindly guess which keywords to use. You’ll probably be able to guess some good keywords, but there are likely hundreds of other keywords that you haven’t even considered. Some of your choices may not even be worth targeting.

Not Everyone Searches Like You

Too many people assume that they know exactly which phrases people will use when searching for their products or services. To you it may make sense for most people to just type in your exact product name. Not everyone thinks and behaves the same way as you do though. Here are some ways that their searches could vary:

-They may throw in an extra descriptive word.
-They may use a synonym for your product
-They might type a whole sentence or just a 2 word phrase.
-They might use regional spelling or terminology.

These are just some examples or search variations. Some other people might not even know what your product is called. Some people may search for a very broad phrase, while others search for something very precise. You just don’t know really know what people are searching for unless you do some research.

How Good Keywords Will Help Your Website

Choosing the best keywords can have a substantial impact on your bottom line. Good keywords can improve your traffic volume, total sales and conversion rates.

By doing keyword research you can get a good idea of which keywords get the most search volume. This ensures that you are targeting keywords that enough people are searching for, instead of wasting resources on keywords that don’t get enough searches. Advanced keyword research will also help identify which keywords have less competition. These keywords would be easier to get rankings and traffic from.

If you increase your traffic volume, your overall sales are bound to improve, especially if you are targeting quality, relevant keywords.

When you do keyword research you will be able to identify which keywords are most relevant to your niche. Targeting highly relevant keywords improves the quality of traffic on your website. These people are much more likely to buy your products or services.

What If You Ignore Keyword Research

Ignoring keyword research is a little like opening up a store but not bothering to put a sign out front. That sign tells your potential customers what your store offers. If those people don’t know what your store specializes in, they may very well walk right by your store without going in. Not putting a ‘sign’ on your website is even worse. Instead of getting a lot of street traffic that might walk into your store, your store is now in a back alley with a sign written in Swahili.

If you don’t do proper keyword research, you either won’t get much traffic or that traffic will be low quality. Usually it will be a combination of both. As a result your sales and profits will suffer. The people looking for your products may never find your website. Essentially you would be wasting the potential of your website. If you want your website to succeed, keyword research is a must!

If you are looking to join the <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com"title="niche profit classroom homepage" >Niche Profit Classroom course and membership site you will need to pick a niche to go into. This is a critical decision because if you choose the wrong niche you will end up doing a lot of work and get nothing out of it.

Just imagine building a website, building traffic, writing an e-book and then having no sales!

We are talking about months of wasted effort and precious time. Instead you should carefully research the niche you intend to go into. Is there a market for information products in this niche? Is there a lot of competition? Could you be interested enough in the niche to take the time to write articles, a book and all the sales materials? The article below is designed to help members of Niche Profit Classroom by giving you tips and advice before you plunge into building a niche business that might be a dead-end.

Selecting a Niche Market that Drives traffic and Money

Author: bharath

When selling a product, a lot of people make the mistake of developing their product first, and then trying to find a market for it. The process should really be reversed. Find a market first that spends money, then find out what they want and give it to them.

It is certainly easier said than done, but there are a lot of places online where you can do your niche market research for free. They’ve done most of the work for you already. You just need to know where to go and what to do to connect all the dots.

When you think you’ve found such a niche market, ask yourself these important questions:

1) Do you have an interest or passion for the niche? If not, do you think you can develop one? Or will you get bored with it quickly?

2) Are other people passionate about your niche? If not, do they have a desperate problem they want to solve?

3) Is the market big enough, but not so big you’ll have too much competition when you’re just starting out?

4) Do the people in this niche spend money?

5) What products are being successfully sold right now to this niche? Can you sell something similar? Can you improve it, give them something they want that all other products of their kind are currently lacking?

What are these existing products in your target niche being sold for? Could you be profitable selling a similarly priced item? Or are your potential competitors selling cheap on the front so they can upsell, cross sell, or make their money on the back-end?

So Where Can You Get Ideas For A Niche Market To Explore?
Brainstorming and Research Online Resources – Offline

• Newspaper
• Niche magazines
• TV and radio
• Catalogs and mail order – subscribe to newsletters, purchase inexpensive products, get on mailing lists
• Tabloids and mainstream media
• Billboards and other advertising media – watch what other companies are doing offline in all their advertising media
• Talking to people – at your local watering hole, coffee shop, friends and neighbors, business partners, customers, relatives. Talk to them and OBSERVE. What are their hobbies, their interests, their problems?
• Books – A greatly underutilized idea-generating machine!
• Grabbing a pad and pen and going to your favorite “quiet” spot to brainstorm

If you are a member of Niche Profit Classroom member then I am sure you will be doing much of the work yourself in building your niche business. Now a crucial part of making money online will be SEO – which stands for <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com/214/search-engine-optimization-tips-for-niche-profit-classroom-members/"title="search engine optimization" >search engine optimization. Obviously you want to rank as highly in the search engines (SERPS) as possible.

Clearly if people or customers cannot find your website then you won’t make any sales at all. A well-optimized website will attract so many potential customers that you cannot help but succeed!

The article below gives you some tips and advice if you are planning to do your own SEO. <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com"title="niche profit classroom homepage" >Niche profit classroom and the niche marketing 2.0 methods do teach you that outsourcing is good and I agree but SEO is not something I believe you should outsource. You can do it yourself.

The Six Steps of Do-It-Yourself SEO
By Navneet Gulati

Ever felt intimidated at the convoluted, jargon-ridden information about Internet marketing for small businesses available on the Net? Ever been horrified by the huge fees the experts charge, putting search engine optimization beyond your own means? Ever thought: What exactly is search engine optimization anyway, and can I do it myself?

The answer is: Yes, you can! The basics of search engine optimization in applied web marketing are simple. It’s all to do with the keyword content of your text copy, and can be summarized in seven points.

1. Register a good domain name which reflects what your site is about. Rather, you want to register something like Best Widgets because that would inspire confidence in people looking for quality widgets who would not necessarily have heard of Fred Jones the widget-maker.

2. Name your page URLs based on reasons similar to the above for your web promotion, except now you can be more specific. Search engines like to know what your page is about. Name a page after a product (BigYellowWidgets.htm) or a service or action (Buy-Widgets-by-Post.htm) on one of the sales pages.

3. The text in the title tag is crucial in letting search engines know what each page is about. Put your important keywords in your title tags, using both the singular and plural versions (people will search for both) and make these tags different and specific for each page. For example, “Widgets and After Sales Widget Services”. Whatever you do, don’t call the home page “Index”, but treat it almost as a mini-description.

4. The other tags (at the top of the html page) between the two “HEAD” tags are not as important as the title tag, but the description tag is still used by some search engines in displaying what you would like web users to see when they scroll down a page of search results. Some search engines don’t use the description tag at all; others, like Google, sometimes use part of it together with part of the main body text surrounding prominent keywords on your page. So you may as well treat the description tag seriously; make it brief (about 25 to 30 words) and as comprehensive as possible in the short space allowed. Make sure you have your popular keywords included within your description tag. The ALT tag is used for a very short description of an image or graphic file, and is what is displayed if you allow your mouse pointer to hover above a graphic. These days it is not considered important for search engines. The COMMENT tag is never displayed on the body page, and is used by coders and designers as an instruction or reminder to themselves about what that section of html coding should be doing; in the past, some webmasters in their quest for website promotion and search engine ranking used to stuff keywords in the comments tags, but now it is generally acknowledged that the main search engines pay little or no attention to these.

5. Keyword density. Each search engine has its own preference as to how many times a keyword phrase appears on the page in order to signify the relevance of that keyword phrase (in other words, in order to help the search engine understand what the page is about). Around 5 to 8 per cent is a rough guide as to the optimal level. Don’t overdo it, otherwise it will be seen as spam or keyword-stuffing. Also use your keywords in the headings tags H1 and H2. There is an H3 tag as well, but it is doubtful whether search engines bother with that, as it is perceived as less prominent on the page, therefore less relevant to what the page is about.

6. Don’t forget good linking in your website marketing. Search engines will judge the importance of your web pages to some extent on the number and quality of incoming links from other sites. Ask other webmasters with sites on similar themes to yours for a link, in exchange for a link back. These sites should not be in competition with yours, but should be similarly themed. You may occasionally be asked by other webmasters if they can link to your site. If this is so then have a look at their site; make sure that their site is relevant, that it has at least some Page Rank, and that it just “feels” good, and has no nasty surprises like redirects or unexpected popups. You don’t want to be associated with a “bad neighborhood”!

7. Make sure that important keywords are included in the anchor text within inbound links from other sites. This is crucial to search engines when they try to figure out the relevance and importance of your pages. The inbound link from the other site should take the form of something like this (I’m using normal brackets instead of angle brackets so as not to use compromising html): your important keywords included here(/A). You should definitely avoid something like click here(/A), which tells search engines nothing except that your site is about “click here”. Be careful!

However if you really want to build a successful website you do need to come up with some original ideas and show some creativity. Competition on the Internet is massive and you need to capture the attention of your readers quickly otherwise they will bounce out of your site and move onto another one to find the information that they need. Ideas such as bonuses which is discussed before or prizes or even giving away some free information is a great way to gain the trust and respect of your visitors. We recommend reading this article and we read it for the full impact to be realised.

We have inserted a video below which is all about niche profit classroom 3.0:

10 Ways to Attract People to Your Website
By Diana Barnum

A very common perception is that if a website is setup, it will
attract visitors and generate sales. This is, however, not true.
Your target audience needs a reason to come.

If you want to use your website to promote something, you will
need to publicize your website, and attract visitors to it,
otherwise there will be no visitors. It’s just that simple. A
website is merely a passive form of marketing, much like a
public signboard displaying the products and services you have
to offer.

Some of the ways in which you can generate traffic are:

1. You can offer some sort of freebie. You could give some form
of free content or information. Original, interesting and
relevant content is always considered to be of significant
value.

2. Another option is to offer your website readers a free
subscription to an electronic magazine. Add value by giving a
free gift along with the subscription.

3. You can also offer a directory of interesting ebooks and
ezines for free, inviting contributions and reviews from others.
If the content of these books is of significant value, then
people will continue visiting your website.

4. A free ebook or software download as a gift to your readers
also makes an attractive incentive to get them to visit your
site often. You can outsource the content of the ebook or your
software creation, if you want. You may include advertisements
for your products and services in the items, too.

5. You can also hold classes or seminars online, and the live
interaction will attract a large audience to your website. These
can be organized in your website’s chat room and it will also
serve to position you as an expert about any topic relevant to
your field.

6. Another important money-spinner is to hold free contents
with prizes of interest to your visitors. The promise of prizes
will attract a large audience, and ensure that people who enter
the contest come back to your website in order to check the
results of the contest.

7. Giving away free downloads will also attract a large number
of visitors and ensure that they keep on visiting your site
regularly. You may even create a listing or directory of
downloads. If the software is one that you have created, you can
include your advertisement inside it and let other people
distribute it as well.

8. You can also consider giving away free services from your
website will attract a large number of customers as well. These
can be search engine result collation, unique mail addresses,
and proofreading and similar services.

9. Offering inexpensive service as a consultant in your field
is another good way to attract others. Give valuable advice to
your potential customers, and they may think about returning to
you for their future purchases.

10. Creating an online club generates a feeling of community
and also helps to promote your website, where the online club
might have its discussions.

It is extremely important to remember that the Internet is used
by many as a free source of information and that readers are not
always interested in buying. Thus, you have to gain their trust
by giving them good advice, tips and other info.

People who trust you often end up happy clients down the road.
They even come back for repeat purchases and send their friends!

Once you have been using the teachings from the <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com"title="niche profit classroom homepage" >Niche Profit Classroom membership site you will naturally start to build websites in niches.

Of course to make money from a niche website you will need visitors, or traffic as it is commonly termed on the Internet.

The article below relates to Niche Profit Classroom because it shows you how to build and grow traffic to your niche website using what is called a <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com/187/niche-website-traffic-generating-tips-using-squidoo/"title="Squidoo" >Squidoo lens. I’ll let the article explain what Squidoo is all about….

Tips On Generating Traffic With Squidoo

A good way to market any business is though a Squidoo lens. This site is a social networking site like many others around but this one for me is unique in a way.

You can advertise on this site without the worry of getting penalized for it. Most social networking sites won’t let you advertise your products that is a big NO with other social websites.

The Lens

A lens is basically a portal to advertise on it is a unique template that allows you to put pictures on there video’s and products. You can make as many lenses as you want out of as many categories as you like.

Use the lenses to drive traffic to your main business site and create more and more sales for yourself.

How To Use Squidoo

Keywords are most important when using a lens. Lenses are WebPages and therefore get ranked in the search engines, just like your internet business gets ranked.

When you choose a url for your lens make sure that you include your primary keyword in this url, this url is going to be used to link you to other pages.

Long tail keywords are being used like crazy these days because they are so popular, use the Squidoo wizard to setup your lens.

One of the things I really like about the lens pages when your filling out the wizard is it gives you the opportunity to put your RSS Feed into the lens page, and search engines loves fresh daily content.

Update your lens three times a week at least modify it in some way but the RSS Feeds will help you do this as well.

Keep adding new content to your lens. Squidoo recommends that you make many lenses, but what there actually saying is use your long tail keywords for your lenses that you make based on your particular niche.

Start domination your niche by making yours unique, lets say your niche is about affiliate marketing, and you wrote about affiliate marketing handbooks, this would make your niche stand out from the rest because your writing about not just affiliate marketing but affiliate marketing handbooks which would be different from your competitors.

When you make your lenses and you have few up your sleeve link them together this is very powerful when it comes to search engine optimizing having all your pages linked together will bring more visitors to your business site.

The way you have to look at your lens is just pretend its your blog and link to your legitimate home business sites with it.

If you get high ranking lenses on Squidoo then you will receive all that traffic to your main business site. This technique is so powerful yet so easy to accomplish.

You have to remember that Squidoo is a social network site for adults so get involved with other peoples lenses and comment on what you see, make your comment truthful and to the point, this will give you more one way links to your website.

<a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com"title="niche profit classroom homepage" >Niche Profit Classroom might not be for you.

Yes you read that right – I said the Niche Profit course and methods might NOT be suitable for you.

Niche Profit Classroom is all about building an online business that is orientated towards long-term success. So I think if your patience is short and you are one of those people who will get discouraged easily then you are probably going to fail.

The reason I say this is because with NPC and the Niche Profit 2.0 methods that Adam and Alen teach, they show you how to set up simple 5-10 page websites that pull in natural search engine traffic from the likes of Google, Yahoo and MSN.

To say this traffic is valuable is an understatement – I mean if you can build a website and it turns up in the top 10 search results in Google, Yahoo or MSN, then you know surely that you can sell something to those people who have typed in the search term – seeking information on that topic. But – you don’t just hit the top of Google straightaway – obviously there are a few things you need to do first – in fact there are many factors that determine your websites success - we can’t cover them all in this article – but I hope you see my point that some effort is required. We all know people don’t we who would sneak off to the next business opportunity and leave a perfectly good one behind.

I think <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com/135/how-did-niche-profit-classroom-start/"title="Adam Short" >Adam Short who is the person who narrates the NPC videos, does an amazing job. His voice is very clear and he is very good at not assuming you have lots of computer or Internet experience – and so even though I do – the simpler the explanations, the better, as far as I am concerned.

But honestly, one reason why Niche Profit Classroom might not be the best strategy of making money online is that people need to have some intelligence to be able to handle the course and modules. There really is a LOT of information to take in. I struggled because Adam was covering some topics and subjects that I was pretty weak in.

That was one of the things I liked when I first started NPC – I was learning about areas and domains of Internet marketing that I was new at. I’m personally talking things like keywords and <a href="http://www.nicheprofitclassroomsecrets.com/276/without-keyword-research-your-website-is-doomed/"title="keyword research" >keyword research. Already I have taken the knowledge from Niche Profit Classroom and applied it to my already established websites and increased their profits.

If I had to throw in one thing that I don’t like about Niche Profit Classroom then it has to be that most of the course is at the moment made up of video training. Actually that can be great at times because you SEE exactly what to do but for me sometimes it would be handy to skim a written report or manual rather than having to sit through a video again – and you will need to watch the videos more than once.

You won’t believe just how much Adam and Alen have produced for you – not just showing you ways of making money using niche marketing – they cover everything such as buying a domain name so you can start your own website, to seach engine optimization so your website can begin to move up the charts so to speak. Basically I want both the videos and writing.

I guess they have gone with the video training for Niche Profit Classroom so that people can’t copy or distribute their copyrighted materials – fair enough, I can understand that. They are really revealing their complete money making secrets and remember that these guys have a ton of niche websites making money so it is only correct and fair that they get paid for putting all this effort in – after all they are showing people how to compete against them.

Incidentally people are always asking me – why do they do it if they can make such huge amounts of money themselves. Well they can’t create millions of websites themselves – think how many topics in the world there are – and how many niche websites there could be - I don’t think teaching others their Niche marketing methods and secrets is really going to hurt them much – and let’s face it they are going to make a ton of money from Niche Profit Classroom subscriptions.

So I think you have probably got more of an idea of what Niche Profit Classroom is all about now. It’s not a get-rich-scheme. Some people looking at business opportunities and ways of making money online will look elsewhere but I don’t honestly know where better to look – I mean if there was a faster way of making money I would be there doing it too.

What I have realized in my years of making money from websites is that the quick fixes, the ‘black-hat’ methods, the tricking of Google etc is always a very short-term way of making money because the search engines are always adapting their algorithms that work out how best to list and order websites. So people who chase these methods always have to keep changing their sites in order to keep ahead – basically chasing their own tails!

I prefer to concentrate my time not on technical issues such as coding but to actually spend my valuable time building, crafting and producing useful information that helps people – and in the process pays me handsomely though sales of books and products. The niche marketing methods and secrets are sound principles with which to build a long-term business on the Internet so you won’t have to worry about changes in the way Google rank your website. You just get on; work hard and the money will follow.

If I haven’t put managed to you off yet (!) then follow this link to watch some free niche marketing videos that show some of the Niche Marketing 2.0 methods that are taught in the Niche Profit Classroom training course.
